Kyren's Open Journal

A musician that's dealing out more rock than a crack house...

Love is Suicide

Ahh... I feel like i'm going insane! Three different girls... all "like" me... but I only "like" 2 of them but I don't know who I like more. I've "liked" both of them since I can remember but never expected them BOTH to ever feel the same way I do about them. It's almost like now that I can have either one... I don't know who I should choose. It's a life altering fork the road on the path that is known as my life. As for the third... i've never thought of her more than a friend but now her friends keep harassing me to go out with her... i'm sorry but if I don't feel the same way about her... I'm not going to press on any further. No matter how much her friends annoy me. I'm sure it's not her fault her friends are acting this way so I'm not holding her accountable... but I feel that i'm going to snap on the next person who tells me that they think me and her would make a good couple. I have to talk to her about all this soon... before I start breaking skulls. I hardly ever catch myself using the word "fear" but I think within the next couple of weeks... I may lose 1 or 2 friends. And I am really hating this. Besides all that madness... I've have been trying to keep myself focused on the U of H Tournament that should be coming up real soon... as well as my kendo and archery training. That... then college... band practice... and work... ahhh... it's all so overbearing! I haven't seen or even talked to many of my friends except Guillermo... and I feel like i'm neglecting them. If any of you all are actually taking time out of your life to read this... i'm sorry! I hate to admit this but I feel that I have too many hobbies... and have made too many commitments. Damn my competitive nature. I'm feeling dizzy and weak to my stomache right now so... i'll catch all you websurfers later.

LYRIC OF THE DAY:

"LOVE IS SUICIDE!"

~ Billy Corgan ("Bodies")

wow... this thing still exist...

Hey Everyone... wow... I actually found this thing again... considering the fact that I had forgotten the address and how to spell Blogger. Oh well...Here's the updates on all that i've written from the last time. At the Summer National Championships... I placed 16th place out of 532 people... which isn't bad for my first national tournament... but of course my friend Marcus placed higher. I forgot the exact place because I literally feel asleep on the floor after I was eliminated. This year I plan on training hard so that I may finally earn myself the national rank of "C". I only know of 3 people in my division with such a title and i'm a "D"... so the "C" is within my grasp. On other news... I asked the girl out and things turned out the way I had planned except for one minor detail. Apparently my lack of time excuse wasn't just an excuse... especially now with Tournaments jumping into my schedule. She knows I care for her now and I told her that hopefully there will be time later on for us to officially get together. I'm estimating around Late October/November... during Ren. Faire. Season.... Man... I swear... for those of you whom don't know how me and my friends act at Ren. Faire... let's just say... we're either the koolest people to hang around or the biggest nerds/dorks within a 500 mile radius. (well... maybe not that bad but oh well.) Maybe this year somebody will beat me at epee. oh well... Okay... time for something a little different... here's some music news...

Music News:
(Local)
* Edgebrook
- Becoming pretty popular now in days... even starting up a newsletter (it's not very impressive but it's a start)
- Edgebrook's next performance with be at:

* Sins of my Youth
- Haven't heard much from these guys... but then again... I have been quite busy since college started up. These guys can really kick though...

* Indredkold
- I've never liked this band and probably never will. My former band Kicked their ass on stage... all their vocalist could do was talk sh*t about us with no form of way of backing up his statements. I swear... so people have not backbone.

* Hand Driver 9 1/2
- Ross and his band of "misfits" (sorry guys... couldn't help but say it) can really jam. Most bands claim to have a unique sound... but this band actually has one. I haven't been given word as to what they're up to lately but hey... i'm working on it.

* Crudefall
- I haven't heard much from this band either. If you were looking the latest news on this band... you've come to the wrong place.

* Tokyo Space Cadets
- Nerd Rock Lives! Java Jazz... Cyber Fuel Cafe... Pasadena Strawberry Festival... Engine Room... these guys have really taken off. To think that I started a band around the same time that they did and they succeed way more than I have. Oh well... good job... I'm sorry to see them go. Better get to Interpunk to get their only CD while it lasts.

* The Yetis
- The most recent winners of the Pasadena Strawberry Festival Battle of the Bands. I don't even think Edgebrook would have stood a chance against this Ska band. Nothing more funner than a great *skank-off* every now in then. Check them out here. The Yetis!

(Mainstream)
* Iha in a Perfect Circle?
- Rumor is being spread that former pumpkin James Iha has signed on to be the new guitarist for a Perfect Circle. I'm not sure how legit this rumor is but i'll keep you all informed.

* The Pillows hitting America by Storm
- Since the introduction of Furi Kuri (FLCL to those who are keeping count)... to the Cartoon Network... The Pillows madness is spreading like wildfire with only one exception... the music is only getting stuck inside the heads of Anime freaks due to the japanese lyrics.

I'm tired of writing this blog so i'm going to stop now.

Kyren Productions is coming soon.
